Giving is better than receiving is true, because by giving you get more benefits. The thing to remember is, we do not have to always give materials or money, but attention, affection or just a sincere smile also can be best gifts. I’ve found some – actually two – unique ways to give poor people in the world.

Our neighbor, Australians, have unique habits to treat the needy –poor people—around them. There are not many beggars like we have in Indonesia, but the people also give something different to them. There are some cafes which provide suspended coffee. Did you ever hear that before? It’s is a tradition where someone came to a cafe and buy a cup of coffee for herself or himself , but she or he will pay for two or more of that. The purpose of this tradition is in order to let the needy or beggars who don’t have enough money can enjoy the coffee, like the payer feels. Of course, it’s free for them. Even in some cafe now not only provide suspended coffee, but also have started offering sandwiches and other foods to be suspended. Because of this way, both of the giver and the reciever can be happy. The beggars will come to the cafe coffee and asking if there is suspended today. If they have, then a maid cafe will answer "yes" and presents the coffee. So a person who cannot buy it does not just go in to warm the body in the café, but can also enjoy the coffee and food were suspended by the generous totally unknown to them. I think it’s very touched-moment when someone give someone else without knowing each other and drink a similar cup of coffee, to share the happiness. Another tradition is no less great things done by people of Hail, Saudi Arabia. They put fresh food in a refrigerator that is placed on the side of the road. Everyone is free to give and free to take because it is not locked. This is a creative way to give the needy people around the folks who are ashamed to beg in the streets. This method also admired by the world and even other countries to emulate.
